52 weeks, 52 opportunities, 52 steps closer to your goals. This is the simplicity behind “52 Weeks to a New You”. Before we begin; however, here are a few questions to ask yourself:
Where would you like to be a year from now?
How do you plan to get there?
What’s the biggest hurdle to your success?
Who can help you achieve your goals?
While these and other questions may be difficult to answer, the challenge itself is pretty simple. Decide what your working on and then make one change weekly towards your goals. It’s that simple!
Chef and I decided to work on expanding and improving our wellness in all areas and to document our progress. We will continue to post what we discover along the way including new recipes, resources, and health tips of any kind: physical, emotional, psychological, social, relational, spiritual, etc., etc. We will post our progress also!. Meanwhile, here’s to being WELL because your health is your W-E-A-Lth!

I'm a Licensed Clinical & Pastoral Counselor. My space is Turning Leaf Counseling & Consultation where we seek to nurture the balance of body, mind, & spirit by supporting persons in their life journeys and offering a place for respite & retreat, relaxation & fun, support & healing! We offer a variery of services such as wellness classes, cooking classes, life coaching and counseling to name a few. Feel free to check us out anytime at https://www.facebook.com/leafturning or stop by for a visit. When not working, my husband and I spend our free timeeither exploring new places or with our two daughters, grandaughter, son-in-law and dogs as well as extended family and friends. We are avid animal and nature lovers. We love to be outdoors, especially anywhere near water, so we spend a lot of time at the ocean, on the beach or boating on the bay. Of course, we are FOODIES (my husband is a chef). We enjoy trying new foods and creating them! Additionally, I love to work out and exercise and I drag my husband along on bike rides that leave us breathless as well as walks, hikes, wandering the streets of Annapolis or whatever physical activity we can do on any give day for fun! Most of all, we are followers of Jesus Christ, who is our rock and Redeemer and making all things new.
